THOMAS D. LOBO is a Pharmacy Graduate (1st Class) from Mumbai University and has done has Post Graduation in Management Studies from the prestigious NarseeMonjee Institute of Management Studies. He also has Post Graduate qualifications in Export Import Management.

He has had a rich experience of 38 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry covering Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain and Global Sourcing. He started his career as a Production Executive in Glaxo and held increasingly responsible positions in various leading companies like Procter & Gamble, Geoffrey Manners, Parke Davis and finally rose to the position of Director for Global Sourcing at Pfizer Ltd from where he retired in 2013.

After retirement he forayed into Education Management and was appointed Campus Director at the sprawling campus of St. John Educational and Technical Institutes at Palghar with overall responsibility for 7 Institutes (Pharmacy, Engineering (Degree & Diploma), Hospitality, Degree college, Jr College, Tutorial and CBSE School) besides heading the Management Institute as Dean.

Alongside his corporate career, Thomas has been in the training function for the past 35 years and is a much sought after speaker cum trainer for both corporate and pastoral groups/institutions in communications skills (especially presentation/speaking skills), and other self-development programmes on Leadership, Creativity, Self-Image, Time Management etc. besides conducting various Career Guidance and Motivational sessions for Youth. As part of the Laity Training Centre of the Archdiocese of Bombay, Thomas is on the core team of the Training for Animators (TOA), Training of Trainers (TOT) & Training for Family Enrichment (TFE) courses

Since April 2017, he is putting his vast corporate, educational & training experience to use as a full time Independent Training professional & Motivational Speaker under his new training venture, Roots2Wings Training Solutions.

On the pastoral (church) front, Thomas is a former Vice-President of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, Vice-President of the Bombay Catholic Sabha, member of the Catholic Council of India and Interim President of the Archdiocesan Council of Associations, Ex-SEO, Govt of Maharashtra and is currently member of the FILMC (Archdiocesan Body promoting SCCs), Office bearer of Shanti Ghar (NGO working for rehabilitation of victims of domestic violence)& Consultant, Centre for Social Action, Archdiocese of Bombay. He is also a Director on the Board of Model Cooperative Bank Ltd.

Thoma's family consists of his wife (retired RBI Asst Manager), SonMohneil, Daughter in law, Kavita (both working for Google Corp, USA), daughter Marinelle and grand-daughter, Shanaya.
